All other apps cost money or lie about being free this is actually free and works- opened a pdf attachment for me! Thank you to whoever made this

Only windat opener thats actually free and useful. Its rarely necessary, but when it is...this does the trick, and allows you to move the file converted to PDF to Evernote or Goodreader or email, etc. No frills. None needed. Just a handy app to have for those rare occasions. I did notice like the previous review stated, there doesnt seem to be any way to delete the file once youve opened. I did take a star off for that. Id prefer my files to be deleted from the app once converted. Perhaps in an update? Anyway...for what it DOES do? Many thanks.

I just reviewed another WinMail.dat app which did not work for me. But this app that I tried second...worked right away and so easily! What I had to do for my purposes, is to open the file -which was a photo - snap a picture of it with my phone camera, and now it is on my camera roll! Im very happy with this app - at least it worked the first time - well see in the future!

Can finally open those annoying windows.dat files the OS wont convert to a readable file. Not pretty, but doesnt need to be since it does what it needs to!

Works OK. Would like to see the ability to erase the file once it is viewed. Also cant cancel email sending if you change your mind.

Never judge by the looks! This app definitely needs an iOS7/8 make-up to be on par with the new design cues of iOS, but it works as mentioned. I used to have an impossible task opening attachments on my iPhone/iPad from Windows users, but this app makes it possible. I just wish they could update the look and feel of the app :( Update: PLEASE update look n feel of this app to reflect iOS 8!!

Tried multiple files and messages with app, same exact message appears. Garbage app. Nothing worked.

I tried a couple of other viewers that either couldnt open .dat or wanted me to pay to open it. This app allowed me to open the attachment and print it. It gave a message about limits in free, given it actually proved it works before asking for money , I think limit is beyond fair. This I will be buying the full version when prompted. I love they prove their usefulness first.

I cant believe I found something to take care of opening the winmail.dat files. It has annoyed me for years that I couldnt open these attachments on my phone but had to go to my computer. And it was free--or I hope it remains free. Great app!!

Nice, simple and this app does exactly what its supposed to do. Couldnt be happier.

It opens the win mail.dat, but it doesnt show you anything more than the names of the file/s. So a simple email or calendar invite cannot be viewed., let alone acted upon. Should have built in viewer for RTF and text files.

This used to be a great app. It apparently hasnt been updated for iOS 9 let alone 8. Please fix or update!

I have been receiving important documents in the winmail.dat format and was very frustrated because I couldnt open them and read them. I actually tried several from the App Store which made claims of working, but none of them worked. In reality, those apps required me to purchase an upgrade in order to be able to open my documents. I finally downloaded this app and it worked great. All my documents opened easily and I could view full content.

Finally I can open the one stupid document from my email without having to pay for an app that Im probably never going to need again.

Works great. But to delete the Winmail.dat Ive viewed once Ive opened it on the application... I have to delete the app and re-install. There should be an easier way to delete the Winmail.dat once Ive viewed it. Other than that its amazing.
